This is basically the same kit as the SolarRoboFlower Acryl versions. The difference is that the parts are made of plywood are therefore are lighter and cheaper to produce. You can paint this wooden flower anyway you want to.
With this little board it's easy to control the WS2801 LED strips directly from your Raspberry Pi using Python or any other language of your choice.
