The economic wooden version of the SolarRoboFlower Kit
Original design by Daniel 'mind' Schatzmayr.
It will follow your torch or lighter around, it can be reprogrammed and everything from the software to the hardware is documented in detail and available online under a CreativeCommons SA-BY-NC 3.0 License.
The kit contains over 130 parts including all the electronic components, the lasercut parts, screws, nuts, servos and everything else you need to assemble the kit yourself.
The building process is straight forward and there are online videos available for building and setup of the SolarRoboFlower.
This is the wooden economy version.
It's cheaper because the material is lighter, can be lasered faster and the included servos don't need to be as strong as in the acrylic version.
There are four different versions available
- A wooden economic version made of plywood
- A transparent acrylic version (standard)
- A black acrylic version
- And the glossy limited special edition
